Development Cooperation CodeWay Expo 15 - 17 May Fiera di Roma The Commonwealth Club will be hosting a stand (B6) at the CodeWay Expo www.codewayexpo.com
Our presentation on 15 May
Our presentation at CodeWay Expo on 15 May highlighted the need to listen and cooperate between the different stakeholders in this development cooperation space. In particular the discussion that emerged between potential service providers, both our British Chamber in Italy and the Confederazione Nazionale di Artigiani, and potential receipient countries was very provocative and stimulating. Ambassador Kombo from the Tanzanian Embassy in Italy ably represented the views of many of our countries involved in development cooperation both generally and, in particular, in relation to the Mattei Plan. The unanimous view at the end of the presentation was that this initiative would be the start of a process that we could work on together and contribute to better outcomes. Cameroon and Nigerian embassy representatives also attended the presentation. Bangladesh, Kenyan and Zambian embassy representatives attended the CodeWay Expo.
